NOTE: Classic cars with 12v systems will have alternators that charge at 13.6 or 14.4 volts. All modern (from around 2000 onwards) need 14.4v or therabouts to charge properly. Most quality replacement alternators or voltage regulators, including our 10316 regulators, provide around 14.4v for an effective charge. Letting any battery dischage and stay discharged will cause irrepairable damage to your battery.
