Bonnet (hood) lacing with bonnet bumpers and retainers, metal clips with end retainer plates and screws which hold the rubber lacing to the vehicle.

1# To install the bonnet lacing to the cowl vent, it will need to be lifted by undoing the screws to place the rubber along the cowl vent edge, then, place the metal end plates in the rubber, fit the Philips head screws in place, check that the lacing has equal length at each end and retighten the screws.

2# The bonnet rubbers, lubricate the nose of the bonnet rubbers, place the nose of the rubber bumper into the hole in the bonnet with the flat side resting against the panel, then using a pushing motion until the rubber sits against the bonnet panel.

3# Place the metal clips in the radiator support panel (with the flat side up) the nuts go on the screws first to lock the screw against the radiator support panel clip then push/twist the round bumper over the screw head, adjust the height so the bonnet is level with the guards and re-lock the nut against the clip.
