This kit enables you to mount the radio body of any RetroSound® radio, away from the radio face and two control shafts. This is very useful in custom installations, or in situations in which there is not enough room behind the dash for the radio body. For example, after-market air conditioning often adds ducting behind the dash, that would interfere with the radio body. With this radio remote mounting kit you can mount the radio body almost anywhere, up to nine feet away from the radio face and control shafts location. The parts included are the MH-9 main wiring extension harness, M2-FBC-1 radio face to body and shaft extension cable, and 12' antenna extension cable.
